Jason Lamb, Executive Director Jason Lamb is the executive director of the Office of Prosecution Services. He is the prosecutor coordinator for the state of Missouri and serves as a liaison to various offices, agencies and associations. He sits on the Statewide Child Fatality Review Panel, the Criminal Records and Justice Information Advisory Committee, the Livestock and Farm Protection Task Force, and the Department of Public Safety Crime Victims' Services Unit Advisory Committee, as well as various ad hoc committees and working groups. He is a member of the National District Attorneys Association Victims Rights Committee. He also is a member of the board of directors for the Missouri Association of Drug Court Professionals and the National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators. He served as the elected prosecuting attorney for Audrain County, Missouri from 2003-2009. He was 28 years old when he won the contested election for prosecutor, making him one of the youngest elected prosecutors to serve in Missouri. As prosecutor, Lamb handled all levels of criminal cases, ranging from speeding tickets to murder. He also oversaw a child support enforcement unit. Prior to being elected prosecutor, Lamb was an associate with the Seigfreid Law Firm of Mexico, Missouri, where he engaged in general practice. Prior to entering private practice, he was a law clerk to the Hon. Duane Benton of the Supreme Court of Missouri. Lamb is a former adjunct professor of business law and political science for Moberly Area Community College. Lamb received his law degree from Tulane School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree in history from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2004, Lamb was named prosecutor of the year by the Missouri chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators. In 2008, he was named prosecutor of the year by the Missouri chapter of MADD. He was also recognized as an "Up and Coming Lawyer" by Missouri Lawyer's Weekly in 2008. Lamb serves as co-chair of the Missouri Bar Criminal Law Committee and Criminal Law Council. He is also the delegate for the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers' Section Council to the ABA House of Delegates. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Legal Education Committee and Government Attorneys Committee. He has served on the Missouri Bar Online Legal Research Task Force and Criminal Justice Task Force. He is a graduate of the Missouri Bar Leadership Academy. He is a member of the Cole County Bar Association. |
Susan Glass, Deputy Director/Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor Susan Glass is the Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor for the State of Missouri. She has held this position since May 2005. The Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor is funded through a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Safety. In her capacity as TSRP, Susan provides training and technical assistance to Missouri prosecutors and law enforcement officers on issues relating to traffic safety with a special emphasis on impaired driving investigations and prosecutions. Prior to joining the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services, Susan served as legal counsel to the Missouri Department of Corrections. She also previously served as an assistant attorney general and as a law clerk to the Honorable Edwin H. Smith. Susan is a 1998 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. |

Catherine Vannier, Family Violence Resource Prosecutor Catherine Vannier has been the Family Violence Resource Prosecutor for the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services (MOPS) for over 3 years. Vannier's program was created when she started in 2006 and has expanded over the years to provide resource materials, support and training to prosecutors, law enforcement and allied professionals on the issues surrounding family and sexual violence prosecution. Prior to coming to MOPS, Vannier had accumulated eleven (11) years of experience prosecuting criminal cases. She exclusively handled family violence cases for six (6) years. She was instrumental in creating a specialized domestic violence unit in her jurisdiction. During her tenure as an active prosecutor, she learned the importance of coordinating the community's response to violence, sitting as a board member on the local family violence council, as well other police and community task forces and committees. She has given multiple trainings on the investigation and prosecution of family violence cases and continually adapts and improves her work to reflect current law and practices. As part of her presentations, she uses examples from her closed cases as well as other examples she has learned about from her trainings, travel, and experience in the field. |
