Family Violence Resource Program

Welcome to Missouri's Family Violence Prosecution Resource Program. We created this site as a part of our effort to coordinate prosecution & allied professional efforts to combat family & sexual violence in Missouri

Catherine Vannier is the Family Violence Resource Prosecutor for the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services. The Family Violence Prosecution Resource Program was designed to maximize the effectiveness and performance of prosecutors, law enforcement and their allied professionals on these difficult but vitally important cases through training, technical assistance and resources.

This program offers training, technical assistance and resources to prosecutors, law enforcement and our allied professionals on the issues surrounding family and sexual violence investigation and prosecution.

Click on the provided link to view training opportunities throughout the year. Trainings consist of an annual statewide conference, local and regional trainings as well as on-line trainings or "webinars".

The Family Violence Resource Program also produces a periodic newsletter called "The Edge". This newsletter is published periodically to highlight innovative programs, ideas and resources for the prosecutors and allied professionals in the topic areas of family and sexual violence. "The Edge" also announces upcoming trainings and seeks to provide notice to all members of the prosecution community of the resources available to them.

The Family Violence Program administers a yahoo group called the "Family & Sexual Violence Prosecution Group". On this group you can find information about specific trainings, legal updates, articles, or communicate with other members specifically about issues on family violence.
